Golden Haveli is a 42 room hotel and derives its name from the nickname of Jaisalmer,“Golden City”. The city stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone embellished by a fort at the top, known as Jaisalmer Fort or Sonar Killa . The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the largest fortifications in the world with denizens having abode in It.
